Prepare to Meet the 2024 Ranger Raptor

Ranger and Raptor are two names that will go down in Ford history as conveying ultimate power and strength, and that’s before you put them together. This coming model year, the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor will be continuing its legacy of performing over some of the world’s most challenging terrain.
One of the 2023 Ranger Raptor most notable features is its suspension, purpose-built with lightweight aluminum upper and lower control arms, and a long-travel rear suspension with a Watts linkage and trailing arms to provide drivers with control and confidence off the road. The Ranger Raptor also features next-generation FOX 2.5-inch Live Valve Internal Bypass shocks, which are coil-overs at the front and piggyback reservoirs at the rear to reduce heat build-up and provide top-notch performance all day long. With the Ranger’s fully boxed frame and reinforcements in key areas like the front frame rails, front shock towers, rear shock brackets, and suspension mounting points, the Ranger Raptor is equipped for the most punishing off-road conditions.
A truck designed for this level of ruggedness deserves to be matched with intense power, and the Ranger Raptor delivers with a Ford Performance tuned twin-turbo 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that produces 430 lb.-ft. of torque and a best-in-class maximum available horsepower of 405 hp, making this the most powerful Ranger ever built with increased performance on gravel, dirt, mud and sand.
The Ranger Raptor uses technology to its advantage to boost its performance as well, with the vehicle’s selectable drive modes altering everything from the tuning of the engine to traction control and throttle response. The sport steering wheel includes cast magnesium alloy paddle shifters for quick transmission control, and mounted upfitter switches in the overhead console make powering off-road hardware a breeze. A 360-Degree Camera helps to make off-roading safer and easier while Zone Lighting allows you to illuminate remote areas at night for simplified adventures.
“Ranger Raptor is the high-performance off-road truck so many customers have been begging for,”said Carl Widmann, Ford Performance chief engineer. “It’s right-sized for tight trails and daily life, can carry lots of gear, and is a blast to drive. Ranger Raptor is fast, comfortable, and packed with top-shelf, purposeful technology that’s designed to perform. This is the baddest Ranger we’ve ever made.”
The Ford Raptor family is continuing to grow with the addition of the Ranger Raptor, joining the ranks of giants like the F-150 Raptor, the F-150 Raptor R, and the Bronco Raptor, all unstoppable vehicles engineered to be the ultimate off-roading machines for true enthusiasts and thrill seekers. If you’re interested in experiencing this truck for yourself, it will become available late this summer. Until then, take a look at our inventory to see some of our other intense off-roading vehicles.
