Ford Celebrates F-Series 75th Anniversary with Special Edition F-150

June 27th, 2022 by

The Ford F-Series is without a doubt among the ranks of great American trucks. It has been on the market now for 75 years, and has also been not only America’s best-selling truck for 40 years, but the best-selling vehicle of any kind in America for 35 years. This is a legacy worth celebrating, and in honor of the 75th anniversary of F-Series trucks, Ford will be introducing the 2023 F-150 Heritage Edition.

This special edition truck is a new and modern version of the two-tone exterior color offerings that were popular in the 1970s and ’80s. This timeless look will feature the classic F-Series style, and will deliver not just on looks but on the durability, powerful capability and cutting-edge technology that the F-150 is known and loved for today.

This new special edition will be available on XLT series F-150 trucks. The design of the 2023 F-150 Heritage Edition is meant to invoke a new and refreshed version of the classic A-B-A exterior paint pattern. In this look, the A color makes up the roof and pillars, the B color makes up the truck’s midsection, and the A color repeats on the bumpers, the lower door, and the lower body, giving the truck a sleek, colorblocked look.

The interior of the truck will be offered in slate gray and black, providing the perfect neutral to compliment the bold colors of the exteriors. Inside, the truck will also feature seat trim covers with unique inserts and distinct designs. On the console lid, you’ll find embossing that will further set these Heritage trucks apart from other F-150s. A white “75 Years” logo in the upper center windshield completes the effect, and the same logo can be found in the center screen startup animation and on the center console.

Five different color combinations are available for the 2023 F-150 Heritage Edition. One will have a Race Red midsection, with the upper and lower in Carbonized Gray. One will have an Atlas Blue midsection, with the upper and lower in Agate Black. The next will have an Antimatter Blue midsection, with the upper and lower in Carbonized Gray. The white version will have an Avalanche midsection, with the upper and lower in Agate Black. The last one will have an Area 51 midsection, with the upper and lower in Agate Black.

The order banks for the 2023 F-150 Heritage Edition will be opening mid-July, and production on the special anniversary truck will be starting this fall. Pricing will be available when the order banks open. Don’t wait– order your 2023 F-150 Heritage Edition this July and bring home a piece of history!
