Say Hello to the 2023 Ford F-150 Rattler

The F-150 lineup is already a rugged and powerful collection of trucks, and now it’s getting another member. Ford has announced the F-150 Rattler, a truck that’s perfect as an entry-level vehicle with plenty of street style and excellent off-road capabilities.

The new Rattler package was announced on Tuesday. This addition to the F-150 lineup is built on the XL series, outfitted with FX4 content to make it perfect for off-roading. Skid plates offer protection while an electronic rear-locking differential provides enhanced traction. Hill descent control lets you tackle inclines with precision and confidence, and specially tuned off-road shock absorbers give you increased stability over rough terrain. The Rattler also includes rugged all-terrain tires that will stay sure-footed both on and off the road.

Like any good truck, the F-150 Rattler will be far from a one-trick pony. Not only is it capable off the road, but it’s a sleek and stylish head-turner off the road, too. The distinctive appearance of the Rattler package includes a dual exhaust system that gives a powerful look with a bold sound, and painted 18-inch aluminum wheels that add sporty appeal. F-150 Rattler badging adorns the fender vents, and the truck’s rattlesnake-inspired graphics give it plenty of presence on the road.

The style of the F-150 Rattler continues inside the vehicle. The onyx seats are dressed up with burnished bronze accents and stitching that matches the trim on the instrument panel. The color palette reflects the desert-inspired theme of the truck. Its available exterior colors include Oxford White, Avalanche, Iconic Silver, Carbonized Gray, Antimatter Blue, Stone Gray, Agate Black and Rapid Red TriCoat as an extra cost option.
